Hot News

Hey there Wolf Supporters! Please join me for the New Mexico Film Foundation’s George RR Martin Award Ceremony on January 10, 2017 at the Jean Cocteau in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The event will feature a staged reading of the first act of my screenplay WOLF, winner of the George RR Martin Science Fiction/Fantasy Screenwriter Grant. The performance will showcase great actors – including some very special guests. Stay tuned here for updates and for tickets. Thank you to George RR Martin and The New Mexico Film Foundation for their support. I am so grateful!

The George RR Martin Award Ceremony will also be a joint fundraiser for the New Mexico Film Foundation and New Mexico Girls Make Movies, a new grant program where New Mexico girls and young women, ages 12-25, submit their short screenplays, poems, comics and more for the chance to turn their story into a short film with the support of a professional crew. Any girl that submits will be invited to work on the set and receive mentorship in the film production area of their choice. A huge thank you to Dirk Norris of the New Mexico Film Foundation for his support of this new program. Look here for links to our website and facebook page soon!

The Mexican Gray Wolf recently had an amazing victory! U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services decided to proceed with the release of 10 Mexican Gray Wolves into the wild despite strong opposition from New Mexico Game and Fish Department. To support of this endangered animal, visit Wild Earth Guardians.

Great news! Both Lobster and Baby Monitor found global distribution through the Spiritual Cinema Circle, a subsidiary of Vivendi. The aim of the Spiritual Cinema Circle is to get short films and features that have a motivational, spiritual, and uplifting message to a greater audience.  I am grateful to Anna Darrah, Suzanna Otting, and Stephen Simon, whose vision created a home for both of my shorts.
